A Lenawee County Circuit Court jury near the Ohio border on Tuesday convicted Dale Warner of second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of his wife, Dee Warner, 52, WXYZ reports.
The jury deliberated nine hours over two days. Sentencing for the 58-year-old Warner is set for May 7.
Dee Warner went missing in 2021, and in 2024 her body was found in a fertilizer tank on Dale Warner's farming property.
Prosecutors argued that he had a motive to kill his wife, who had expressed a desire for a divorce.
